The Best Intercontinental Champion Series!

Fans,

I started to put a poll on here with a list of some of the best Intercontinental Champions throughout the history of WWE, but then I got to thinking...there's too many greats! This is a poll that could very well take all summer to accomplish, but we're going to find out who you think is the BEST of all time!

The Wrestleline Report-Thursday

The Memorial Day edition of RAW scored a 3.2 cable rating

WWE will be releasing the Most Powerful Families in Wrestling along with a ladder match dvd on June 5.

I saw an email from a frustrated fan on a website where he was talking about Bill Banks coming up to him at the TNA Impact tapings, telling him that he could no longer take photos at the Impact tapings...yet everyone else in the arena was allowed to take pictures. He was told it was because he had a professional camera, which was not true. Not sure what the deal is here, but I don't see where the harm is in letting fans take photos.

TNA Impact Spoilers:

Jim Cornette announces that Tomko will replace Jeff Jarrett in the King of the Mountain qualifier vs AJ Styles.

Christopher Daniels makes his way to the ring to take on Rhino but Sting attacks him from behind. They brawl in the stands and all over the building.

Rhino now without an opponent makes an open challenge and LAX comes out.

(1) Rhino w/Hector Guerrero d. Homicide w/Hernandez and Konnan via the Gore.

LAX beat down Rhino and Hector. Chris Harris tries to make the save but gets beat down as well.

(2) Non-Title Match: Chris Sabin d. Kaz with the Cradle Shock in about 5 minutes.

(3) KOTM Qualifier: AJ Styles d. Tomko with a roll up. Match went about 10 minutes.

Nasty Heat Brewing between WWE Divas

This message was from Candice Michelle's MySpace page and was sent out as a MySpace bulletin

WW

-----------------

Hey everyone!

I'm sure that you're wondering why you haven't seen any new editions of Candy-Coated lately.

Well in this edition, I am not going to candy-coat much of anything!

I had written my last blog right before WrestleMania, which wasn't published! I was really frustrated, and quite frankly, pissed off. I like to let the fans who support me know what's going on in my career and my feelings.

I had a lot of choice words for Melina. I am sick and tired of the B.S. I was so frustrated that the person who thinks she can walk all over everyone thinks that she is a true champion. I believe in working to get to the top. Melina took the easy way out. The lying, the cheating, backstabbing… Even the people she thinks like her – she treats like crap. I think Nitro lost his voice or maybe his b*lls!

This is a competitive world and it's based on the survival of the fittest. It is a great feeling being the underdog. I am the girl that not many people believed was athletic or wanted to be in this business for the right reasons. I have read and heard what people have thought about my wrestling skills and chances of being a competitor in this business. These people are the ones that motivate me. It doesn't hurt me, it makes me stronger. It gives me something to prove.

I have been training for the past two years. I have trained by watching every match, learning the rules of this game, practicing Muay Thai kickboxing, Krav Maga, and then getting in the ring!! (Special thanks to those who have stepped up and helped me in the ring, you know who you are!)

I have also had the opportunity of working beside real champions like Trish Stratus and Mickie James. I am more fired up than I have ever been!

It's great that Melina thinks that I am not much of a challenge, but expect the unexpected. I have a lot to prove and a lot to learn still, but I am determined and dedicated with one goal in mind. I am a rhino and I'm charging after you – so watch out now!

'Til next time, sweet dreams

Candice Michelle

P.S. About the comment on my spare tire… Is this really the best you could come up with? Melina, jealousy's a b*#ch

The Wrestleline Report-Tuesday

Christian Cage's TNA contract is a two year deal

The Slammiversary ppv will be the first time a ppv has been back at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium since WCW's Superbrawl Revenge 2001 ppv.

Bill Banks confirmed in his online column that TNA replica belts will be available later in the year.

The new TNA belts were designed by David Millican and Rico Mann.

TNA Impact last week averaged a 1.01 rating.

Jay Hassman, who used to work with TNA, has been charged with grand larceny and falsification of business records. He claimed that the first weekly TNA ppv did 80,000 buys, but in all actuallity, it did about 25,000 buys, the second doing 15,000, and the third doing 10,000.

Reasons for some recent WWE releases:

WWE felt Ariel (Shelly Martinez) didn't have the right look

Spirit Squad member Mitch has back problems

Management felt Scotty 2 Hotty's ring work wasn't getting any better, plus he's also injured again and expected to be out most of the summer.

And I thought this was mind blowing-the feeling backstage was that Angel Williams wasn't pretty enough to be a WWE Diva...somebody backstage needs some new glasses.

Updated One Night Stand PPV Card:

1. ECW World Heavyweight Championship - Street Fight Match: Vince McMahon vs. Bobby Lashley
2. WWE Championship - Falls Count Anywhere Match: John Cena vs. The Great Khali
3. World Heavyweight Championship - Steel Cage Match: Edge vs. Batista
4. World Tag Team Title - Ladder Match: Jeff & Matt Hardy vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Sheldon Benjiman)

The Wrestleline Report-Monday

Edge has been told by WWE management that he'll have a long World Heavyweight Title reign

Vince McMahon was furious when he found out that it was common knowledge among smart fans that RVD's departure with the company would be after the One Night Stand ppv, and is saying the company may keep him a few extra week just to surprise the smart fans-which would not be a surprise now anyways.

Word is right now that RVD has no interest in coming to TNA.

Sabu, on the other hand, is interested in returning to TNA, and has already contacted some of his friends in the company about making a return. Konnan has also offered him a spot on the AAA roster.

Ron Killings is likely to work in AAA once he's healed up from his knee surgery.

Hulk Hogan has turned down AAA's recent offer for him to work their Triple Mania event this summer, even though they met his asking price, as he told the company that he's not interested at all in working this summer. The company will continue to pursue Paul Wight for the event.

Jeff Jarrett has recently been in talks again with Hogan, but it's being said that Hogan's asking price, again, is too high.

Kurt Angle is currently in talks with Bodog Fight, EXC and UFC, and right now it looks as though Bodog has the edge on signing him, although nothing is set in stone.

TNA announced via their mobile service over the weekend that Christian Cage has signed a new multi-year contract with the company.

It's being rumored that Team 3D would like to end their careers in WWE, even though they're not rushing back at the moment.

TNA has told talent recently that they're hopeful of getting a two hour timeslot by August.

This is Insanity!

For the second year in a row, local Indianapolis fed Insanity Pro Wrestling has won a poll deciding which fed local fans prefer. Last year, the poll was restricted to Indiana based federations, but this year included feds from around the midwest, and STILL Insanity Pro Wrestling has come out on top! Now, some of you who follow Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling or IWA Mid-South (second and third place, respectively), but don't know much about Insanity Pro, don't you think it's time you learned?

Insanity Pro Wrestling started out in 2001, running modest local shows at an Indianapolis based Knights of Columbus hall. From the beginning though, IPW made an effort to put forth the best product possible for the fans, even if they didn't have a bloated budget to bring in big names, and would do so by putting the best of the locals in the best combination of matches. IPW also started out a little more hardcore than what they've become these days-A LOT bloodier, and saw some pretty bloody battles between Mad Man Pondo, EZ Cruz, Brandon Prophet, Necro Butcher and more. There was a lot of skepticism from local vets who were dead set on doing things how they'd always been done-a formula which obviously wasn't working anymore-but the fans' voices were heard.

Over the years Insanity Pro Wrestling has built a pretty good reputation for themselves locally, and some of the best independent talents in the industry have made stops to visit, such as Colt Cabana, CM Punk, Matt Sydal, The Irish Airborne (Dave & Jake Crist)-just to name a FEW. The fed also features one of the top tournaments in the midwest every year, the Super Junior Heavyweight Tourney, which continually features not just some of the best local up and comers, but some of the best Junior Heavyweights from around the country as well.

If you haven't taken the time to check out this stellar fed, check them out online at insanityprowrestling.com, and see what all the fuss is about. Their next event is next Saturday, June 2 in Indianapolis, IN at the Salvation Army Gym, located at 1337 S. Shelby St. Just to give you an idea of what this fed puts out every month, next Saturday's card will include a main event of 1/2 of The Irish Airborne-Jake Crist-taking on former Wrestling Society X star, and midwest wrestling sensation M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross, a "Pure Wrestling Showdown" between local talent "Simply Spectacular" Dave Davidson and HWA talent Jon Moxley, four of the most talented young men to come out of the Indianapolis wrestling scene will square off-OMG v. Diehard Dustin Lee v. Drake Younger v. Vortekz-and that's just SOME of the great talent you'll see featured in this fed. They don't have a lot of glamour and glitz, but if you want some pure wrestling action, you'll love Insanity Pro Wrestling.

It's being rumored that Hulk Hogan has been contacted by AAA about working this summer's TripleMania event. If Hogan does the show, he will be paid the largest asking price to ever be paid to a wrestler in Mexico.

WWE has offered developmental deals to a few international talents, with the move rumored to be part of the planned international territories.

TNA Impact Spoilers:

Smackdown Spoilers

Chimel introduces Smackdown. Opening match - Shawn Daivari has an arab head dress on and is cutting a promo in Farsi. Chuck Palumbo rides out on a motorcycle to interrupt. It's Palumbo vs. Daivari! Palumbo wins after 4-5 minutes with a slam and a pin then rides his hog out. He got a pretty good reaction, Daivari got good heat. JBL and Cole arrive. Chimel sets us up to show signs. SD opens and we are underway!

Edge music and promo with pyros to start. He promises to usher in a “Rated R” era. Teddy Long comes out to make a 4 way for #1 contender at One Night Stand. Mark Henry, Kane, Batista and Finlay. One Night Stand match will be in a steel cage 15 feet high!

London and Kendrick vs Regal and Taylor. Deuce and Domino come out to the ramp to watch. Kendrick gets beat up by Taylor and thrown out. He and Regal make quick tags to continue the rudo beatdown. Kendrick hits SB#2 and tags. London goes top rope, Deuce and Domino push him off for the DQ. KLC win. Brawl outside afterwards. HUGE BOO for Deuce and Domino as they leave. Good pop for KLC.

Hornswaggle gets chased by Edge backstage because he stole Edge's belt. Finlay stops him and says you can have this back... FOR NOW!

Jillian comes out to sing “Jillatonic”. SHE STINKS! Boogeyman interrupts. She tries to flee but a diva throws her back in. She tries again and Lil Boogey blocks. They both put worms on her and she flees in horror.

Back in his office, Teddy Long officially welcomes Vickie Guerrero as his new assistant. She is thrilled and so is Kristal. Next up - Matt Hardy vs. The Miz. Miz works an arm and the crowd is tepid with excitement. Hardy gets several good pops nonetheless. Miz finally gets some heat for pulling his hair for a head slam. Miz hits a neckbreaker and poses. Matt fights back with punches. Clothesline in the corner. 2 count. Scoop slam and top rope elbow. Miz blocks a twist of fate. Hardy gets the side effect for 2 then twist of fate for 3!! BIG POP! Matt leaves holding his belt in one hand and his head in the other, and then bows to the crowd.

Mark Henry does a Titantron promo and declares himself king of the jungle. He vows to win the 4 way and promises he will show us just how vicious a silverback gorilla can be at One Night Stand! Balloon displays and a podium are brought out presumably for MVP. Balloons form two arches on the ramp and the podium is in the ring. MVP rides down to the ring in a convertible drop top like the king of the prom. He gets a pyro on the ramp and sparklers in the ring. MVP cuts a promo and says he proved he was worth every penny, and that Benoit should come out to make the celebration complete. Benoit comes out. MVP demands a handshake and Benoit gives it to him. He also demands Chris raise his hand to declare him the future and Benoit the past. MVP gets in his face and Chris gets fed up! He unleashes German suplexes and chops. MVP flees the ring and glares as Benoit poses.

On the Titantron, Kane promises the 4 way will be fatal for his opponents, and One Night Stand will be Edge's last stand. A promo package for WWE 24/7 follows as the lights are dimmed to the strains of Van Halen's classic “Right Now”.

Chavo Guerrero vs. Jimmy Wang Yang (presumably non title) as the lights come back up. Babyface beats up the heel to start and the crowd is pin drop quiet. Chavo dropkicks Yang in the knees as he goes top rope for a li’l heat. Chavo works him over, but Yang comes back with chops. Chavo applies a half crab and Yang gets to the ropes. Chavo goes for it again but Yang breaks again. They’re not booing this, but almost no one is cheering and it's a shame. Backslide by Yang for two and a headkick followed by clotheslines and a high back bodydrop. Chavo kicks the knee again and does Eddie’s rolling suplexes. Chavo goes top rope for frogsplash and is cut off. They fight over a superplex and fall off into a roll up by Yang for 3. Yang wins but it's non title. Chavo retains, clutching the belt like it’s his most cherished possession.

Batista is on the Titantron with Kristal. He says one guy loves to fight, one is king of the jungle, and one wants fatality - but it won’t be fatal 4 him!

Edge out first for fatal 4 way to huge boos.

Batista is out first for the 4 way, followed in order by Kane, Finlay, and Henry is last. The whole arena smells like smoke from all the pyros. Big babyface pop for Batista. Kane and Finlay to start. Batista and Henry in when they spill out. Finlay jumps on Henry’s back, but Henry finally throws him over. Cluster in the ring. Side slam by Kane on Batista. Batista top rope press on Henry for 2 count. Batista suplexes Finlay off the ropes. Henry bodysplashes them. Kane hits boots and goes for chokeslam, turns into a punch fight. Kane with boot, Batista clotheslines. Henry powerbombs Kane. Henry scoops Batista for the strong slam but gets 2 count. Cluster again and Finlay hits everyone with the shillalegh! Little Bastard in and Batista spears Finlay so Little Bastard runs away. Big demon bomb by Batista on Finlay for the 1 2 3. Batista is the new No. 1 contender!

Batista stares down Edge, who is sitting at announcer’s table and leaves, getting big pops the whole time.

After Smackdown ended, the dark match was Daniel Rodimer (as Dan Rodman, 309 lbs from Clearwater, FL) over Funaki in a squash that went way too long and got no heat. Neg heat for Rodman.

The ringside and ramp looked pretty full, camera side seemed 2/3rds taped off.

The Wrestleline Report-Tuesday

Hulk Hogan has apparently decided against working in TNA, and has stated he won't return to WWE since Vince won't pay him main event level money. Hogan is looking at working in Antonio Inoki's new promotion in Japan.

Antonio Inoki is still working on a Kurt Angle-Brock Lesnar match for the "real" IWGP title on the 6/29 Tokyo Inoki Genome Federation debut show.

Angle is under the impression he is going over, and winning whatever title they create.

Antonio and Simon Inoki hold the NWA membership in Japan.

Jim Mitchell's monster, as things stand, will be Ricky Banderas. His AAA schedule is apparently the hold up.

From a talent perspective, no one understands why TNA uses Bob Backlund.

Many of the undercard wrestlers complained when TNA banned talent from working for Ring of Honor, PWG, and UWA in Canada. The current morale is said to be quite low.

The recently released Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens (The Naturals) may be used in the upcoming NWA Tag Team tournament to crown new World Tag Team champions.

The Wrestleline Report-Monday

Judgement Day PPV Results:

Ric Flair d. Carlito

Bobby Lashley d. Vince, Shane and Umaga-but after the match, Vince said that he wasn't pinned, thus the title wasn't changing hands.

CM Punk d. Elijah Burke

Randy Orton d. Shawn Michaels

The Hardys d. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch to retain the Tag Team Titles

Edge d. Batista to retain the World Heavyweight Title

MVP d. Chris Benoit in a 2/3 Falls match to become the new US Champion

John Cena d. Great Khali to retain the WWE Title

It's likely that Shawn Michaels will be taking time off for knee surgery, and this would explain the loss to Randy Orton at the ppv.

Mark Canterbury aka Henry Godwin has been released from WWE. He was brought back largely due to HHH.

It appears Sean Waltman will be returning to TNA

The kidney donor found by Rob Feinstein for Konnan is in the testing stages right now for compatibility-should they be a match, the transplant would take place in June.

Right now there is currently a storyline set up to team Lance Hoyt with VKM, then turn against them

The Naturals were released from TNA because TNA felt they were never really over with the Orlando crowd.

The Wrestleline Report-Thursday

The next WWE 'Saturday Night's Main Event' is scheduled to air on June 02, with the next one to air on August 18th according to NBC affiliates.

Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler is ranked 70 out of 100 in Maxim.com's Hot 100 of 2007.

According to The Toronto Sun, Trish Stratus plans to open a yoga/fitness gym in Toronto sometime in 2008. HGTV Canada's Show "Designing Guys" will design the gym.

There's now rumors going around that James Mitchell's new protege could be either Andrew Test Martin, A-Train, or Matt Morgan-Ricky Banderas is still a faint possibility as well.

Sabu does have a 90 day no compete clause as part of his release, so he'll not be able to show up on TNA tv-if that were an option-until August.

TNA Impact Spoilers:

Promo opens the show involving new World Champ Kurt Angle, Sting, Christian and Jim Cornette-Cornette says none of those men won the match at the ppv in his eyes, thus he's stripping Angle of the Championship, and whoever wins the King of the Mountain match at the next ppv will be the new TNA Champ.

Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley d. Jerry Lynn & Tiger Mask

Christopher Daniels d. Raven in a First Blood Match

Promo involving Eric Young, Ms Brooks & Robert Roode

In a King of the Mountain qualifier, Kurt Angle d. Rhino

Just so you know, next week in a King of the Mountain qualifier, it'll be Samoa Joe v. Sting!

The Wrestleline Report-Wednesday

WWE has released ECW Originals Vito & Sabu. Well let's see...RVD will be leaving soon, no doubt Tommy Dreamer will most likely go back to an office job, and I don't see Vince keeping Sandman around, as he's not liked too well by Vince, Undertaker, etc...so...it's pretty much a bunch of people that never had anything to do with the original ECW whatsoever.

Sabu was scheduled to do the job for Kevin Thorn last night on ECW. The show had to be rewritten, and Nunzio ended up putting Thorn over instead.

In 18 days, Steve Austin's "The Condemned" has taken in $7,103,581.

There are rumors of Melina v. Candice Michelle at Judgement day, but nothing's official as of yet.

In what sounds like some pretty big news, the NWA has signed an exclusive 5 year deal with Big Vision Entertainment to produce and distribute NWA branded events, including pay per views, video on demand, as well as DVD's. The first project between the two will be the upcoming tournament to crown a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. This will be released as a special edition 2 disc set entitled "Reclaiming The Glory: NWA World Title Tournament". For those who don't know, Big Vision Entertainment is the parent company of Wrestling Society X.

Smackdown last week got a 2.6 broadcast rating.

Raw scored hours of 3.5 and 3.7, for a 3.6 cable rating composite this week. The show did a 5.6 share.

The 5/12 episode of AM Raw scored a 0.9 cable rating, with a 3.9 share.

There are rumors of Chris Jericho returning to WWE in the fall-just in time for Summerslam and RAW's 3 hour "season premiere" on USA.

Triple H is slated to return to in-ring action at the end of July from his quadriceps tear - if this is the case, the Game is likely to play a big part in WWE's Summerslam PPV.

On the subject of injury returns, ECW's Bobby Holly is expected to make his comeback in late August after undergoing elbow surgery to repair consistant nerve problems.

Colt Cabana signed in at Ohio Valley Wrestling this week.

The Wrestleline Report-Tuesday

TNA Impact is going to be good this coming week-I've taken a glance at the spoilers, and the new titles are shown, it's announced that people will be facing off for the opportunity to be in the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary, and Antonio Inoki shows up stating that in June there will be a talent exchange between his promotion and TNA.

On a side note, the new TNA World Championship will be unveiled tonight on TNAwrestling.com's webcast of "TNA Today", with the new Tag Titles and X Division Titles being unveiled Wed. and Thurs. on the show. Also on the show this week will be exclusive interviews with Antonio Inoki, Scott Steiner, Robert Roode and more!

For those who haven't heard, RVD will not be re-signing with WWE. The determining factor was NOT the animosity between himself and head of talent relations-John Laurinitis-it was a few different reasons. First off, RVD is doing well financially, and is getting burnt out on the heavy travel schedule with WWE and enjoys being home in California. He stated that he was misled as to how ECW would be brought back and presented; he also stated that he felt like he was singled out for drug use and was made an example of, when there are many other wrestlers in WWE who use drugs recreationally. He stated that he would like to work in Japan, but has yet to make any mention of TNA.

ROH has announced a second PPV taping that will be taking place on June 23 at Frontier Fieldhouse, in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Tickets are on sale now at ROHwrestling.com. On the show you'll see:

-ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima
-No Remorse Corps of Roderick Strong, Davey Richards & Rocky Romero
-Naomichi Marufuji
-The Resilience of Matt Cross & Erick Stevens
-Delirious
-Brent Albright
-BJ Whitmer
-Adam Pearce with Shane Hagadorn
-Chris Hero with Larry Sweeney & Tank Toland
-Jimmy Rave
-Matt Sydal
-Nigel McGuinness

Two Weeks Worth of TNA Imapct Spoilers!

These are the LIVE SPOILERS from two episodes of TNA IMPACT where found out the fate of the World Heavyweight and World Tag Team championships now that NWA Executive Director Robert Trokich has pulled the NWA belts from the TNA promotion. According to a NWA source the TNA officials were informed of this decision after the annual NWA convention in October. The NWA will be holding a worldwide tournament to crown their new champion, with the first round matches taking place in the next few weeks. The “mascot” was back shooting shirts out to the fans.

Possibly we will also find out some of the people who will be in the annual King of the Mountain match to be held in Nashville at Slammiversary. David Penzer informed us that “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels challenged anyone on the roster to a “First Blood” match during hour one of Impact.

Hour one news and matches:

We were joined at the opening of the show by the new World Heavyweight champion Kurt Angle. He was wearing the new title belt which kind of looked like an old WWWF title belt but it looked good. Angle said it took him months to get here and finally he was the World Heavyweight champion after fighting Samoa Joe, Sting, Scott Steiner and Christian Cage when Sting crashed the party. Sting admitted last night the Ankle Lock was the real deal and he needed some Advil, also admitting he tapped out to Kurt Angle. Sting said he had Cage pinned before he tapped out and he felt he was the true World Heavyweight champion. That of course brought out Christian Cage and Tomko. Cage said that Sting and Angle prided themselves on doing the right thing. Cage said he also had a legitimate claim to be the World champion even after Jim Cornette’s “5-1advantage.” Cage invoked the Chris Jericho clause using the TNA rulebook as his weapon. That didn’t happen when Jim Cornette made his presence felt. Cornette said one thing was certain about the match on the PPV, Cage was pinned and wasn’t the champion. He also said Sting tapped out and he wasn’t the champion either. He took the title from Angle’s hands and said the belt wasn’t Angle’s either. Cornette said that Andrew Thomas was not the referee of record so the match result was null and void. He then verbally ran down Cage, Angle and Sting while the fans chanted for Samoa Joe. Cornette said guys like Joe and Rhino were hungrier than the trio in the ring. Ten stars (with Rhino, Joe, Sting, Cage and Sting included) in TNA would be fighting until Slammiversary to earn the right to be in the King of the Mountain match.

Mike Tenay and Don West spoke to the home viewers about what went down in the ring. Jeremy Borash came out briefly introduce Japanese legend Antonio Inoki. He said in June there would be some kind of talent exchange. “Showtime” Eric Young and the mascot were hanging out in the fans. During the first hour we only saw one backstage segment and it was at the end of the show.

(1) The Motor City Machine Guns (World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) defeated Jerry Lynn & Tiger Mask IV.

Sabin also came out with a new title belt. Sabin and Lynn picked up where they left off at Sacrifice, trading high impact moves. Lynn took control with a head scissor and tagged in Tiger Mask, which sent Sabin scurrying to his corner to tag Shelley. Shelley hit a jawbreaker but it didn’t work but the double team dropkick to the back into an STO worked. Tiger Mask countered a back suplex into a enziguri but he got hit by a Sabin Acecrusher. Lynn ended up on the floor as Sabin/Shelley hit machine gun like kicks to the head of Tiger Mask before getting the pin. After the bell they attacked Lynn but it backfired as Lynn was saved by Mr. Backlund. That didn’t last long as they took over on the former champion who was saved by “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal (sporting his new t-shirt.)

(2) In a “First Blood” match, “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels defeated Raven (w/Serotonin members Havok AKA “Hotshot” Johnny Devine, Kaz AKA Frankie “the Future” Kazarian and Martyr AKA Matt Bentley)

Daniels went to use the baseball bat but Raven used his kendo stick. Raven went to end it with a screwdriver to the head but Daniels escaped. Raven called for his chair but Daniels ended up using it as a weapon. Raven got it back but Daniels hit an enziguri. Daniels’s STO onto the chair was blocked but not the DDT into the chair by Raven. Raven splintered the Kendo Stick (not one owned by Kahagas as his kendo sticks NEVER break) and tried to cut open Daniels but a crotch shot stopped that. Daniels got the shards and split open Raven to win. Shockingly Serotonin did not interfere during the match but they did save Raven from further beating. Kaz said Raven needed to be disciplined so he demanded Raven kneel. Raven obliged but when Kazarian went to hit Raven, Martyr and Havok stepped in front. I guess Frankie Kazarian is out of Serotonin.

“Showtime” Eric Young and his army of friends made their way into the Impact Zone. Young got in the ring to say he wasn’t here to party, but to give thanks to Jeff Jarrett who taught him to believe in himself and do what is right. Next he thanked the fans for their support in his battles. He claimed he was a free man but that brought out Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks. Roode said hi hearing was going because he didn’t think he heard Young right. He threatened to fire Young but he said the rules have changed since Jim Cornette threatened a lawsuit. Roode said Young needed a good attorney because he was going to sue Young for all he was worth. Young took the envelope from Roode and wiped it on his butt. Young got decked but he fought back despite Ms. Brooks’ interference. The fans chanted for Jeff Jarrett but he was not in attendance. The mascot got Roode’s attention long enough for Young to get a chair and swing but miss hitting Roode.

Tenay and West spoke to the home viewers.

(3) In a KOTM qualifier, Kurt Angle defeated “War Machine” Rhino.

This was an interesting match from bell to bell. Angle and Rhino traded side headlocks and shoulder tackles but neither got total control as one would separate from the other before hand. Rhino got control with a TKO but got two as angle slid out into the Ankle Lock but Rhino countered out into a powerslam. Rhino went for and missed the GORE and Angle hit a German Suplex. Angle took Rhino over into a rear chinlock but Rhino fought to his feet hitting a clothesline and a corner spear. A Northern Lights Suplex got Rhino a two count and so did a spinebuster. Angle went up top but Rhino met him and brought Angle down in a superplex but got two for his effort. Angle escaped a belly to belly and hit Rhino with another German suplex before the singlet came down. Rhino got out of the Olympic Slam but his GORE was stopped and Angle won via the Olympic Slam.

On screen we saw Leticia Cline get from Jim Cornette the main event of hour two would be Sting against Samoa Joe. The Steiner Brothers came in with a table and asked for a match with Team 3D. I think Cornette agreed to an in-ring confrontation of some kind.

Hour two news and matches:

No backstage promos were played for the fans to watch.

Team 3D and their new belts made their way into the Impact Zone. Ray said the word on the street was the Steiner Brothers wanted to talk so he asked them to come out. Rick and Scott obliged to a mixed reaction. Team 3D said it was an absolute pleasure to be in the ring with one of the best tag teams in history. Scott didn’t want the fans or Ray’s opinion about how great they were, he wanted to talk about the lack of legacy in 3D’s hand. Scott said they were the first WCW Tag Team champions (sort of truth) and he felt the WCW 3D was talking about was the abortion Vince McMahon forced down the fans throat. He felt the ECW “World” Tag Team titles weren’t as word wide as the Steiner’s victory for the IWGP titles while 3D never left the Bingo Hall. Scott said Team 3D beat no one. Rick Steiner pulled out a long list of team they defeated in their career and it was a long list of wrestling legends. Ray felt Rick needed to not acknowledge the defeat of the Outsiders. He said they had respect for 3D not like some punks in the business. Scott bottom-lined it by saying 3D’s legacy didn’t mean SHIT! Devon said he didn’t like the treatment they were getting for putting the Steiner’s on a pedestal. Devon said yeah the Steiner’s have beaten everyone but not 3D. Scott challenged them to a match at Slammiversary. Ray accepted and wanted the absolute best the Steiner’s had to bring.

(1) Damaja and Basham (w/Christy Hemme) defeated Kip James and Lance Hoyt.

At Sacrifice Kip got his butt kicked by Basham/Damaja and with Hoyt he looked to exact some revenge. Kip had control of Basham but a blind tag to Damaja changed that. They made several tags wearing down Kip as Hoyt could only pace the apron. Kip survived the onslaught as Hoyt got rid of Hemme. In the end with Hoyt out of the match Damaja hit Kip with an inverted atomic drop and Basham hit a leg lariat takedown to win.

(2) “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage and Tomko defeated Latin American Xchange (“Notorious 187” Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez w/Konnan on crutches)

Cage looked a little naked without the 10 pounds of gold around his waist. Instead of locking up with Hernandez, Tomko tagged out to Cage to begin the match. It worked in the favor of LAX as they took over on Cage with double team moves until Cage could tag out to Tomko who wasn’t affected by Homicide’s punches to the head. To the shock of many the non LAX fans cheered for them as Tomko hit Homicide with a throw away slam. Konnan and Hector Guerrero were talking at ringside as Cage got a two count on Homicide. Tomko hit a running powerslam but somehow Homicide escaped defeat. Hernandez made a blind tag and hit Cage with a slingshot shoulder block and a throw away choke slam. Homicide left the ring to confront Guerrero and it allowed Cage to escape a Border Toss when Tomko kicked Hernandez in the face. That set up a Cage Frog Splash for the win. Konnan and the LAX were ready to fight Guerrero when Rhino and “Wildcat” Chris Harris came out to even the odds up. To the surprise of no one LAX retreated from danger.

(3) In a KOTM qualifier, Samoa Joe defeated Sting.

This was the one of best of the 90’s taking on arguably one of the best in current time. The fans were split as some chanted Joe’s Gonna Kill you towards the Icon even as the show was at commercial. The match went on with neither man fully containing control as Joe escaped the Scorpion Death Lock and Sting escaped the Kokina Clutch. When Joe took over with some punches “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels came to ringside. Sting missed the Stinger Splash but Joe didn’t miss an enziguri. TV came back live as Sting asked Daniels to leave ringside. Joe wasted no time in going back on the attack as Daniels stayed ringside. Joe stretched out Sting on the mat but Sting fought to his feet but ran into a leg lariat that got Joe a two count. Joe locked in a Crossface like move but Sting fought out of that too but Joe tossed him to the mat before hitting an elbow drop for two. Sting countered out of a suplex and hit the Scorpion Death Drop. Daniels argued with Andrew Thomas and he tossed the bat to Sting. But Sting refused to use it and Daniels paid him back by hitting Sting in the back. Joe hit a Samoan Drop to win.

Matches taped for Xplosion and TNA Today:

(1) Senshi defeated LAX member “Notorious 187” Homicide when he countered out of the Cop Killa into a pin. The history on this one is Homicide trained Senshi (Low Ki) at the famous Dog House on Long Island.

(2) Petey Williams and “Showtime” Eric Young defeated Motor City Machine Guns (World X Division champion “the Future” Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) when Young rolled up Shelley who tried to block Williams from hitting Sabin with the Canadian Destroyer.

The Wrestleline Report-Monday

First off, I apologize fans for not getting on here to do a report over the weekend. Honestly, I'm simply burnt out. I could say that I had a busy weekend with it being Mother's Day and all, but the God's honest truth is that I'm just burnt out. I have A LOT going on in my personal life, and at the end of the day, when I'm done with everything and it's time to get on here-this used to be my release, but now has become something that I am starting to dread, and I don't want to feel that way. I'm not sure when or how immediate, but I am most likely going to end reports on the website and the hotline and just leave the message forum for promoters and fans to interact. Again, I'm not sure on this 100%, or when it would happen, but I will let all of you know for sure if and when this happens. That being said-how about some wrestling news?

TNA Sacrifice PPV Results:

-Chris Sabin retained the X Division Title in a Triple Threat Match involving Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt.

- Robert Roode defeated Jeff Jarrett.

-Christopher Daniels defeated Rhino.

- Basham & Damaja w/ Christy Hemme defeated Kip James in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match.

- Chris Harris defeated James Storm in a Texas Death Match.

- Jerry Lynn won the Four Way X Division Match over Alex Shelley, Senshi & Tiger Mask.

- Team 3D retained the World Tag Team Titles against LAX and Scott Steiner & Tomko.

- Kurt Angle defeated Christian Cage & Sting to become the new World Champion.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Robert Roode was originally booked for later on the show at last night's Sacrifice PPV, but Jarrett worked his match and flew back to Nashville to attend to family matters.

TNA is taping a few episodes of Imapct tonight in Orlando, FL. We will post results later this evening.

Spanish announcer Willie Urbina has quit his job with WWC in Puerto Rico over a dispute in regards to the creative direction of the promotion.

Johnny Devine, how knows how to sew, made the makeshift blindfolds for last month's Lockdown PPV. Of course, this was for the James Storm-Chris Harris blindfold match, which was easily one of the worst matches in TNA history.

Butcher Vachon has written a couple of books-one of them entitled "When Wrestling Was Real-The Early Years", the other entitled "When Wrestling Was Real-The Territories and Japan".

The Wrestleline Report-Friday

TNA knockout Jacqueline Moore underwent dental surgery this week to repair chipped teeth from a match at a recent Impact taping. Apparently she's been in good spirits and has been joking about it.

TNA has recently received there new TNA championship and Tag Team championship belts. It is expected that the switch from NWA titles to TNA titles will happen over the weekend. With the switch taking place, TNA will then be able to sell replica belts at retail stores nationwide(which World Wrestling Entertainment makes money on.)

TNA has also ordered a X-Division belt. It is most likely that TNA will drop the NWA name and send their respective title holders out with there belts.

Before he could really even make a comeback in WWE, Too Cold Scorpio has been released by WWE.

Smackdown Spoilers:

Smackdown:

- Undertaker/Batista steel cage promo opens the show.

6) Edge captured the World Heavyweight title by cashing in his money in the match title shot during the Undertaker-Batista steel cage match. Mark Henry interfered and attacked Undertaker, after both Batista and Taker escaped the cage at the same time and the match was declared a draw. Edge speared Undertaker to score the pin fall. After the match, Edge laid out Taker with the briefcase.

The Wrestleline Report-Wednesday

ECW on Sci Fi Results:

Marcus Cor Von w/ Elijah Burke d. CM Punk

Snitsky d. Sandman

Extreme Expose

Elijah Burke w/ Matt Striker d. Brian Major; Burke v. Punk was announced for the Judgement Day ppv.

Vince & Shane McMahon & Umaga d. RVD

Hopefully this isn't a downer for anyone to know in advance, but Edge is the NEW World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown! He cashed in his Money in the Bank spot after Batista and Undertaker battled it out at the Smackdown tapings last night! Personally, I like Edge as a World Champ.

News on WWE's NEW developmental territory:

John Laurinaitis has asked wrestling legend Dory Funk Jr. to be a trainer with the new Tampa development territory.

Funk has been invited to WWE headquarters to train (along with Pat Patterson) the selected talent to try out as was the case in 1998 and 1999.

Funk will maintain his training facility in Ocala, FL and will help with training as directed by Vince McMahon.

At this point, a Tampa area building is being sought out as the new training facility that will house three rings.

Steve Keirn is a WWE road agent, so it’s unlikely he will run the facility by himself. I have also heard Mike Bucci will help with booking the new territory, but will travel back and forth from Stamford, CT.

Other News & Notes:

Raw on Monday averaged a 3.26 cable rating

It is believed The Undertaker tore his biceps either on the European tour or while training.

The original plan was for Mr. Kennedy to stay out of the championship picture until Wrestlemania 24, and then challenge for one of the world titles.

WWE is hopeful that Rey Mysterio Jr. could return to action this month, but it's more likely he return in July.

Former WWE and WCW superstar Bill Goldberg's latest movie "Hall Past Dead 2" is going to be released straight to video on 5/15.

Mistico told the press during an autograph signing at one of the Centro Banamex shows this weekend that he will be out of action for 6-8 months if he has to have surgery on his shoulder which he will find out in two weeks. Mistico said that he would prefer not to have surgery but if it is necessary then he would just have to deal with it.

Mistico is said to be making well over $500,000 per year in Mexico, and in fact, Dave Meltzer is reporting that the lucha libre star earns around $50,000 per month.

Prior to his injury, Mistico had decided to make up his mind regarding his future when his contract with CMLL expires next month. Rey Mysterio Jr. continues to push for Mistico to come to WWE.

Mistico is not likely to receive a downside guarantee offer from WWE that will match his current earnings in Mexico, but on the other hand, Mistico does 450 to 500 matches per year.

TNA had a back up plan in place in case Jeff Jarrett couldn't work the main event at the Lockdown PPV. Jarrett continues to spend time away from TNA with his ailing wife.

With Jarrett away, the creative meetings involve Vince Russo, Dutch Mantel, Scott D'Amore, and announcer Mike Tenay.

There were problems with the steel cage used at Lockdown. The ring actually broke the night before the PPV, and wrestlers were told spots in the ring to avoid.

Those close to Austin Starr deny he wore a Ring of Honor t-shirt at the Lockdown fanfest. On a side note, his contract expires with TNA around the same time his suspension ends. He had asked for his release from TNA earlier in the year, but obviously that wasn't granted.

Steve Austin Interview Recap

Between The Ropes
Wednesday, May 2, 2007
Central Florida's Sports Radio 740 The Team
Simulcast online at BetweenTheRopes.com

On Wednesday night, May 2, WWE legend "Stone Cold" Steve Austin joined hosts Brian Fritz, Dickerman, and Vito DeNucci live on Between The Ropes on Central Florida's Sports Radio 740 The Team to discuss his new film The Condemned, his thoughts on today's wrestling product and John Cena, his future in wrestling, and much more.

The interview began with Steve talking about the experience of filming his first movie. He said that he had a great time on the set and that there was a lot of laughing and joking. He also said that "doing the choreographed fight scenes was a little bit frustrating since you have to remember so much. In the wrestling ring you just go through it and learn after years and years.

Steve also joked that one of his co-stars "has one coming" as a result of accidentally giving Steve a black eye during a fight scene.

Regarding finding the script of the Condemned: "My agent brought the script to me and wanted me to be the part that Vinnie Jones plays in the movie. I took the script to Vince and he said 'okay, we'll do it, but, you're playing Jack Conrad.'"

Steve was then asked about living in California. He said that he had just bought a ranch in south Texas "so I'm still Texas based while I'm out here in L.A."

Steve confirmed that he has two more movies left on his movie contract and that he is looking for "another action-adventure movie. Something more solo, driven my me, and we hope to start shooting ASAP. Asked if he was sticking with just action movies Steve said "I think it makes sense to stick with them, at least initially and maybe forever. I'll just take it as it comes and stay in my comfort zone initially. I like action movies, I like watching them, and I like being involved in stuff like that. If I'm lucky enough to make 30-40 action movies I'd be a pretty lucky guy."

How does Steve see the wrestling business as it is today?

"I think right now is a good time for wrestling or sports entertainment. The last WrestleMania was the best all time as far as production goes. I think there's a big youth movement right now. I think John Cena is doing an outstanding job. I think he's kid friendly and corporate friendly. I was an edgy act and I pushed the envelope in a lot of different ways when the business was at the biggest point in its history. So, I think it's a good time for the business and they're on an up cycle."

Regarding where he sees himself in wrestling today Steve said he would probably always be a part of WWE. He also said that at this point it's time to give camera time to the younger guys who are out there working and drawing the houses. Though he did say that fans can expect to see him every so often at WrestleManias and when an angle is convenient.

Asked if he has any feelings of withdrawal when he hears a crowd reaction like he received at WrestleMania 23 Steve said "when you first come back you do have withdrawals, absolutely. But then you get used to it and get it out of your system. I just look back and have a lot of great memories in a business I absolutely loved. It was so good to me and I was good to it. But when you go out there and get a pop like I did in Detroit when you've been gone as long as I have…you just walk down to the ring thinking 'thank you very much for remembering.' It doesn't make me want to get back into the ring though. I've always appreciated my fan base and worked really hard for them and they just keep sticking by me."

Steve then talked about his creative control and backing out of some angles he felt would not be beneficial. "There's a lot of politics involved. And sometimes like with the Brock Lesnar deal you get a piece of information explaining it and it just doesn't make sense. During the time when I was white hot nobody has ever generated more income for that business than I did. So one day you show up and you hear they want you to do a job in a match on Monday Night Raw that hasn't been hyped and doesn't make sense. Believe me, big draws only come around very, very very few times. Myself and Hulk Hogan are probably the two biggest draws ever and you have to take care of cats like that."

On whether he thinks Hogan is bothered by the fact that a Hogan v. Austin match never happened: "I don't know, me and Hogan have never run in the same circles. He's done his thing and I've done mine. I've always given him credit for having a wonderful career. I don't know if it bothers him or why he seems so insistent on it…I don't think it would be a good match. I've always been a guy where, if you asked 'hey Steve, would you like more money or less money' I'd say more money. I could make a lot of money in that match, but I wouldn't be happy with what I was giving the people and therefore I don't want to give it to them"

Talk then turned back to Steve's movie career. Steve said that he got a quiet satisfaction at the end of the day when he knew he had done during filming. However, he has now seen the movie seven times with crowds while promoting it and he still gets to hear some crowd reaction as people clap and react during the movie.

Lastly, Steve said that he would be open to working with the Rock on a film, but it would have to be sometime in the future once he has progressed as an actor.

The Wrestleline Report-Tuesday

TNA has announced that the King of the Mountain match will return at the June Slammiversary ppv. For those that don't know, this is kind of like a reverse ladder match, where the only way to win is to be the first to climb a ladder and hang the title from the ceiling.

TNA owner Bob Carter attended the 4/15 Lockdown PPV in St. Charles, MO.

Jim Cornette worked as the agent for the Jackie Moore vs. Gail Kim and Chris Harris vs. James Storm blindfold matches at Lockdown.

TNA has launched a new mobile service, where you can get TNA news and more sent to your phone. Go to mobile.tnawrestling.com for more info!

While the morale remains low in TNA, Scott Steiner's attitude and mood has been positive. The frankensteiner he did at Lockdown may have been the first he did the move since 1997. He was telling people backstage at Lockdown that he was bringing the move out of retirement.

Apparently Vince McMahon was furious that WWE.com reported on Randy Orton being sent home. Stephanie and HHH told the WWE.com staff that they want to keep the site completely kayfabe.

Speaking of that European tour, apparently a few of the wrestlers did get food posioning.

WWE has decided to stay out of Japan for the rest of 2007.

The Undertaker has a torn bicep tendon and is scheduled to see a doctor today to examine the injury.

It's also being reported that Bobby Lashley is scheduled to be apart of tonight's ECW show. Lashley visited Dr. James Andrews yesterday regarding a should injury suffered at Backlash.

WWE Diva and former Playboy cover girl Torrie Wilson has been named in the FHM Magazine 100 Sexiest Women In The World, placing in the 43rd place and beating hotties such as Mariah Carey, Jennifer Garner, Nicole Kidman and others.

Official ECW on Sci Fi Preview!

Hell has frozen over in the Land of the Extreme as Mr. McMahon defeated Bobby Lashley in their 3-on-1 Handicap Match at Backlash to become the new ECW World Champion. What will this mean to ECW? Will now-former champion Lashley have a response to this devastating defeat?

It's no secret that the Chairman holds the ECW Originals - Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu - with disdain and believes the New Breed are the future of ECW. And the Originals were outraged and did not hide their distaste when Mr. McMahon won the title. On the next ECW on Sci Fi, the Originals will confront the new ECW Champion.

The New Breed may have a new war on their hands with CM Punk. The relationship between Punk and Elijah Burke and the New Breed appeared to disintegrate last week when the straightedge Superstar cost them their match against the ECW Originals. Punk showed that he walks alone and follows no one. What will Punk have to say about his actions, and will the New Breed have revenge on their minds?

Last week on ECW on Sci Fi, Snitsky continued his path of destruction by demolishing Balls Mahoney. Will anyone else be brave enough to stand up to the deranged ECW monster?

Find out the answers to these questions and more on ECW on Sci Fi this Tuesday at 10/9 CT.

Two Weeks Worth of TNA Impact Spoilers!

These are the LIVE SPOILERS for the final TNA TV taping before Sacrifice. Former WWE Tough Enough 2 competitor Hawk was in attendance along with Sean Waltman and family. Let's find out what happened tonight.

Hour one news and notes:

The show was opened by the arrival of the one and only Sting into the Impact Zone. He didn't even get in the ring as Kurt angle attacked him with a chair. TNA black shirt security hit the ring to break them up. Both were given microphones and they argued about the end of last week's match between Sting and NWA World Heavyweight champion ?Instant Classic? Christian Cage who also came out to the Impact Zone or at least his music played. Instead Sting and Angle brawled around the ring again and the black shirts hit the ring since the referee's were no match for the two high strung former world champions. Finally the champ hit the Impact Zone to a babyface pop. Cage wanted everyone to get along. He felt being the humanitarian he wanted Sting to team up with Angle to face ?the Instant Classic? and ?the Phenomenal? AJ Styles. The person who scores the pin in the NO DQ match would get the title shot, but if their team lost both of them lost their shot at Sacrifice. Sting said he already had the title shot and didn?t need the match. I think Angle asked Sting if he was an icon or a pussy before they cut to the backstage area.

Leticia interviewed NWA World Tag Team champions Team 3D (Ray and Devon) about their match tonight with Samoa Joe and Rhino.

(1) The match up of NWA World Tag Team champions Team 3D (Ray and Devon) vs. Samoa Joe and ?War Machine? Rhino ended in a no contest.

LAX didn?t join Mike Tenay and Don West for commentary this week but their fans chanted 3D sucks several times. Team 3D began by working over Rhino but Joe tagged into face Ray and the two men had an excellent exchange of power moves where nothing was resolved. Things broke down as Joe hit Devon with a Samoan Drop, Ray hit Joe with the Bubba Bomb. But when it looked like someone was going for a pin ?Fallen Angel? Christopher Daniels hit the ring and the competitors with a baseball bat. Too bad he didn?t hit Joe who locked him in the Kokina Clutch. All four men got in a shot and the fun ended when Rhino hit the GORE into a folding table propped in a corner.

Jeremy Borash spoke to NWA World Heavyweight champion ?Instant Classic? Christian Cage and ?the Phenomenal? AJ Styles, who wasn?t too happy Cage volunteered him for a NO DQ match. Cage tried to kiss Styles? butt a little saying if they eliminate Sting and Angle Styles would be #1 contender.

Back from commercial Mike Tenay and Don West spoke to the home viewers. Robert Roode (carrying his RRI business plan) and Ms. Brooks (sporting a neck brace) made their way into the Impact Zone with tons of egg on their face after last week?s announcement that Jeff Jarrett was Eric Young?s friend. Needless to say Roode was not a happy joy-joy person. He called for Young to come out to the ring so he could be fired in front of everyone in the Impact Zone. But instead of Eric Young, Roode got TNA Management?s Jim Cornette who told the fans Jeff Jarrett was not in attendance. He said the only people who deserved to be fired were Roode and his ?flotation floozy.? Cornette said when Eric Young signed the RRI deal he breached his TNA deal but Roode was guilty of tampering (I feel like I am on an episode of Law and Order) so Cornette wanted the whole thing dropped. Roode said he was firing Young whether Cornette liked it nor not and shoved Cornette down. This brought out Eric Young who cleaned Roode?s clock for a moment but when he went to get Jeff Jarrett?s guitar Roode was waiting. Too bad for Roode, Young knew what was coming and he fought back. But when Young went to clock Roode and Brooks with the guitar, Roode hit a chop block to Young?s knees (15 yard penalty in an NFL game.) Roode used the cuffs he stole from ?Wildcat? Chris Harris to lock Young in a corner, where he berated him on the mic before using the guitar on Young?s head. Cornette recovered enough to talk on the mic and said instead of firing Roode he was going to have to face Jeff Jarrett at Sacrifice.

Tenay and West spoke to the home viewers once more.

(2) In a Lockdown rematch with Street Fight rules, Gail Kim defeated ?the Pride of Tennessee? Jacqueline Moore (carrying a bullrope).

Kim wasted no time and leveled Moore with a cookie sheet to the head. The fight went to the floor where Kim?s ribs met the ringside guard rail and then she was slammed to the rampway for a one count. Kim threw Moore back in the ring and went shopping under the ring for garbage can, kendo stick (possibly borrowed from Kahagas) and the can ended up on Moore?s upper body as Kim swung it like Sammy Sosa. Kim must have been watching the best of AMW because she tossed baby powder into Moore?s face. Next she choked out Moore with a bar but the last blow came when Moore?s attempted chair shot was kicked back in her face for the pin. The fun really began when ?Tennessee Cowboy? James Storm came out to help Moore exact some revenge on Kim. The bad part for Storm was the fully healed ?Wildcat? Chris Harris also came out to the ring to fight. After the match some officials needed a moment to search in the ring for two of Moore?s front teeth which were knocked out during the match.

Tenay and West did another chat with the home viewers. Between commercials they were joined by Jim Cornette for commentary.

(3) In a NO DQ match, Sting and Kurt Angle defeated NWA World Heavyweight champion ?Instant Classic? Christian Cage and ?the Phenomenal? AJ Styles.

It may have been NO DQ but referee Rudy Charles made the match begin as a normal tag team match with angle squaring off with Angle and the two men traded punches and forearms but Angle got a takeover slam before tagging in Sting. Sting promptly dropkicked Cage and press slammed him over his head, threatening to toss him to the floor onto Styles. Styles and Cage got control by grabbing Sting?s legs and dragging him right into the ring post, making Sting?s lower abdominal area not feel so well. Cage and Styles tagged several times working over Sting as Angle was forced to watch on even though NO DQ was the rules for the bout. Sting fought off defeat several times and was finally able to get Angle into the match and he delivered several German suplexes. Sting hit a double Stinger splash and then hit Cage with the Scorpion Death Drop but Angle stopped the pin. They hit Styles with a double Rock Bottom but Cage hit both of them with chair shots. Styles got a chair but their chairscendo backfired as Angle moved and sent Cage to the floor. Both men got Styles to tap out to an Ankle Lock. This caused Cornette to exit the broadcast table to ask Charles which man got the submission victory. Charles said both men got the win so Cornette decreed at the PPV Cage would have to defend in a three way match.

In between shows Jeremy Borash introduced someone from the TV show Heroes (which airs on NBC and mentioned TNA Mobile was now fully active.

Hour two news and notes:

(1) LAX?s ?Notorious 187? Homicide defeated Team 3D?s Devon and ?Big Poppa Pump? Scott Steiner.

Everyone minus Steiner came to the ring with their partner or manager who remained at ringside. Homicide tried to talk Steiner into working together but Steiner refused and kept trying to order Homicide around. They hit Devon with a suplex and chest chops as Ray could only watch on. Devon tried to fight back but Steiner hit a belly to belly suplex for two. Steiner placed Devon in the Tree of Woe so more punishment could be inflicted. Homicide was hit by a Steiner Tilt-A-Whirl slam for two as Devon recovered in a corner. Devon got back in the match hitting Steiner with a shot then hit Homicide with a Sky High Slam for two as Steiner fought on the floor with Ray. Machete got the referee?s attention long enough for Hernandez to hit Devon with the Border Toss help to win the match for Homicide. After the match Ray and Steiner traded chair shots and fought to the locker room.

Tenay and West talked on camera to the home viewers. Christy Hemme and the Voodoo Kin Mafia (Kip and BG James) came out the ring but the team formerly called the Bashams hit the ring and attacked the VKM. Hemme introduced them as Basham and Damaja. Lance Hoyt came out and the trio hit the bricks. Tenay and West spoke on camera possibly talking about what went down in the ring.

(2) World X Division champion ?the Future? Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley defeated Sonjay Dutt and ?Black Machismo? Jay Lethal.

As Dutt and Lethal came out you could see Dutt was still not amused by the transformation Lethal underwent courtesy of Kevin Nash. Shelley didn?t look amused either as he faced off with Lethal to open the match where Lethal hit some ?Macho Man? like moves. Dutt stood in his corner and watched as Lethal was hit with several double team moves. Lethal survived and tagged out to Dutt who was energized, clearing the ring. Dutt hit Sabin Sliced Bread #2 and Lethal went up top ready to hit the elbow drop but Dutt picked up Sabin. The referee put out Lethal out of the ring and it allowed Shelley to hit Dutt with Emeral Frosion to win. After the match Bob Backland came out and attacked Sabin and Shelley possibly for the recent Paparazzi Productions video where Sabin and Shelley attacked Backland, who walks from the TNA hotel to Universal Studios for the tapings. .

(3) In a NO DQ battle, ?the Phenomenal? AJ Styles, ?Fallen Angel? Christopher Daniels and ?Tennessee Cowboy? James Storm (w/ ?Pride of Tennessee? Jacqueline Moore minus two teeth) defeated ?Wildcat? Chris Harris (w/Gail Kim), ?War Machine? Rhino and Samoa Joe

Storm wearing his hat squared off with Joe and quickly had it pulled over his eyes. Joe tagged in Harris and Storm quickly got out tagging in Styles who got suplexed by Harris as Joe made a blind tag. Rhino tagged in to inflict a beating on Styles with great fury. That ended when Styles distracted the referee and Daniels knocked Rhino off the top turnbuckle and down to the floor. Rhino got back in the ring where Daniels was waiting to attack .Daniels and teammates tagged out to wear out Rhino as the crowd cheered him on. Storm made a mental error and it allowed Rhino to tag out to Harris. Tags didn?t matter anymore as all six competitors got in the ring to fight. Storm and Harris remained in the ring where Moore tried to toss the beer bottle into Storm but landed in Harris? hand. Harris was ready to deck his old partner but Storm grabbed the referee and stopped the shot. In the end Storm won via rollup and a huge hand full of tights. The fighting was not done as Harris chased Storm in the crowd behind the announcers. Their fighting ended as Harris backdropped Storm off and down to the concrete floor below.

After that fight ended, Sting and Angle fought their way into the Impact Zone with Christian Cage watched on from a safe distance. Finally TNA referees and black shirt security broke them up. Angle said on the house mic come Sacrifice Sting?s ass was his.

Matches taped for Xplosion:

(1) Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) defeated Sonjay Dutt. After the match Roode took the mic to tell the fans he was going to make an example out of Dutt but Eric Young and guitar came to the rescue.

(2) ?Black Machismo? Jay Lethal defeated LAX?s ?Notorious 187? Homicide (minus the rest of LAX).

Announced matches for Sacrifice PPV:

-- NWA World Heavyweight champion ?Instant Classic? Christian Cage vs. Sting vs. Kurt Angle
